* Magnificent 1950s ivory silk satin cocktail dress
* Fabric design features luscious red long stem roses
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Strapless bodice with draped diagonally pleated shelf bust
* Bodice is boned for support and has a self trim at waist
* Very full skirt with vertical inset of contrasting magenta satin at waist to hem
* Skirt is half circle at front with back featuring pleats to provide more fullness
* Lined bodice, unlined skirt raw seams with machined hem.
* Low back with metal zipper
Condition
This dress is really breathtaking and one not to be missed. It is extremely well made and is in excellent condition for its age, with no flaws of note, apart from a couple of tiny spots on skirt, really not noticeable. The stole is unlined and allows for easy draping in a myriad of ways. A truly amazing and beautiful dress!!
