* Lovely early 1950s commercially made New Look dress
* Fabric is a textured cotton blend
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Long bracelet sleeved bodice with centre front button opening to hem
* Double collar, one in navy and the other in ivory linen wth self bow
* Turnover cuffs on sleeves edged in ivory linen
* Skirt is very full with deep box pleating from waist
* Unlined raw and pinked seams with hand finished hem
* Label reads Harry S Epstein New York
Condition
Such an eye-catching and flattering dress with classic early 1950s styling. Think Lucille Ball!! The dress itself in excellent condition for its age. No notable flaws that I can see, the white linen cuffs are very slightly discoloured but I managed to get them much brighter than they were originally. I imagine a couple more washes will see them as bright as ever. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
