Emma Domb

The Emma Domb Manufacturing Company was inaugurated in 1939 by Emma Domb and Lorraine Domb Steinberg. Based in San Francisco, the company specialised in wedding, party and prom dresses, cocktail gowns and ensembles. During the 1950s, the Emma Domb label was known for its quality craftsmanship and beautiful fabrics. The label remains popular today for anyone who appreciates an alluring feminine silhouette.

Condition

This dress is in excellent condition with no rips, stains, major fading or holes. The only issue of note is that there are a couple of missing teeth in the metal zipper but it does not appear to impede opening or closure. Priced accordingly. This is a spectacular dress and really looks like a dress Marilyn Monroe would have worn back in the early 1960s. It's black,  figure hugging, brimming with sparkling sequins and made by Emma Domb ...what more could you ask?
