House of Worth
The House of Worth was a French house of high fashion that specialised in haute-couture, ready to wear clothes and perfumes. The historic fashion house was founded in 1858 by designer Charles Frederick Worth. It continued to operate under his descendants until 1956 when it was sold to Sydney Massin who based his operations in London, operating until 1967.
Condition
This amazing dress is in excellent vintage condition for its age and without flaws. It presents beautifully as can be seen, the fabric is strong and the colours are vibrant. A rare chance to own a piece of fashion history. Shown with a crinoline for presentation purposes and not included in the sale.
