* Cream taffeta lining and working back nylon zipper

The dress carries a Blum's Vogue Chicago designer label, a high end designer store. Blum's dressed Chicago's most fashionable women for decades. For forty years, Harry Blum, owner of Blum's Vogue would travel to Paris every season to select the fashions for his store. Blum carried designer notables such as: Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Mme Gres. He would also carry American designer labels such as, Norell, Trigere, Ben Zuckerman, Galanos, Werle, Ceil Chapman, etc. Unfortunately, as this dress only carries the Blum's Vogue label, I cannot be certain of the individual designer.
Condition
This outstanding dress is in excellent vintage condition for its age. No major flaws that I can see, but there are some splits to the organza lining underneath the netting at the back of the dress, more than likely hanger damage. The organza lining could be replaced if desired or left as is as the splits cannot be seen from the exterior of the dress. There are a couple of light marks on the underneath lining material which do not show up at all on the crepe underskirt or net outer skirt. I must highlight the construction of this dress, which is definitely high-end and impeccably finished. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
