Hem Allowance: 1.5 inches + 4 cm

Note: Measurements are taken from the outside. The garment is measured flat with the tape stretched tightly from seam to seam. This is the maximum size allowable, so please consider individual fit and comfort.

Description

* Vintage early 1960s brocade designer dress

* Fabric features a random gold scroll pattern over a teal blue background

* Bodice is sleeveless with a wide oval neckline

* Skirt is straight at front and gently gathered at back - giving a slight tulip effect

* Self-fabric bow at the waist on the left side

* Low back with metal zipper and hook & eye for closure

 * Label reads Blanes London 

Blanes of London was an upper mid-range British garment manufacturing company, that made high-quality day and evening wear throughout the 1950s and 1960s. 

Condition 

Excellent vintage condition.

No notable flaws - I'd venture to say pristine!
