* Dress features a crimson red velvet bodice and crimson red nylon chiffon skirt
* Sleeveless with scooped neckline and dipped back
* Bodice has a gathered chiffon insert under bust that culminates at the waist with a red velvet bow tie
* Metal back zipper with full lining of bodice and skirt
* Label reads Kerrybrooke Fashions
Kerrybrooke Fashions was one of the fashion brands of Sears Roebuck and Company, the dominant American retailer known for its influential mail-order catalogue and department stores. Contemporary adverstising states that a Kerrybrooke product "combines good taste with the newest fashion trends. They are well cut, carefully tailored and made of the season's most popular fabrics."
Condition
Excellent vintage condition, some crushing to velvet at bodice that could be steamed open by a good dry-cleaner.
All in all, great condition for its age.
