* Fetching 1950s pink, blue and green floral silk dress

* Classic silhouette with fitted bodice and very full gathered skirt

* Bodice with V-neckline trimmed in blue velvet and demi puffed sleeves

* Blue velvet bow to tie at waistline

* Skirt has attached tulle for added fullness

* White acetate lined bodice

* Back metal zipper

 

Comment

Such a pretty dress, with loads of movement due to the lightweight fabric and ultra full skirt. It is in excellent condition for its age. No rips, repairs or damage that I can see -other than the colour variation from the front to the back.  Only noticeable when the front material is held up against the back (refer last photograph). As an afterthought, I think the hem has dropped, as the skirt is longer than normal. You can wear as is or hemmed to suit. Priced to reflect these minor flaws.
