* 1950s vibrant cobalt blue and purple floral print cotton dress

* Classic silhouette with fitted bodice and very full skirt

* Bodice with v-neck, tucked and diagonally darted

* Diamond shaped insert at waist

* Back metal zipper

* Label reads Alix of Miami

Alix of Miami was one of the many manufacturing businesses that sprang up in Miami, Florida during the mid 20th century. The label made beautiful cocktail, dinner and day dresses with a resort flavour. They also made glamorous swimsuits, which were often studded with rhinestones. The company closed in the later part of the 1960s. Today, the label is highly sought after because of their bombshell appeal

This vintage dress has been carefully looked after and is in excellent condition for its age. There are no noticeable flaws that I can see. 

Shown with a crinoline which is not included.
