* 1950s lavender and mauve lilacs floral print over white background semi-sheer dress 

* Dress features a halter neckline with sweetheart bodice

* Bodice features a pleated and draped centre panel 

* Wide Circle Skirt

* Matching bolero with standup collar

* Perfectly working strong side metal zipper

* Commercially made although no label present other than European size measurement of 42 (please note that vintage sizing runs smaller than contemporary clothing.

 

Comment

This striking dress and bolero ensemble has been carefully looked after and is in excellent condition for its age. Remember this dress is over sixty years old but has no noticeable flaws that I can see other than missing its original belt (ribbon not included). A wonderful outfit!!
