* Design consists of large pink full blown roses & chartreuse flowers with green leaves
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with low surplice neckline and shelf bust
* Open knife pleating above shelf bust
* Bodice has contrasting green and chartreuse stripes under bust & shoulder straps
* Knife pleated skirt with contrasting hemline of green/chartreuse & dark/light pink stripes
* Back metal zipper and white cotton lining under shelf bust
* Label reads "Windsor Dress"
Condition
This beautiful sundress is in excellent condition for its age. Colours remain so vibrant. The only thing I noticed is that there is some ghost stitching inside the open shelf pleating at bust, one of the ghost stitches has pulled into a pin dot hole but very minor. Perhaps the knife pleating was sewn in at some point to accommodate a person with a smaller bust. Nevertheless, I have left it as acquired and the fall of the pleats as it appears now is seen in the photos. The ghost stitching does not show on the outside when worn. Cleaned and ready to wear.
