* 1950s liquid rose gold colour shimmering silk satin dress

* Classic silhouette with fitted bodice and wide skirt

* Bodice features a a plunging  petal-shaped shelf bust that is gathered at centre seam

* Sleeveless with pleated straps that reveal a low petal back that echoes the dress front

* Dropped waist that dips lower at back

* Very full skirt with stiffening and weights at hemline for structure and movement

* Back metal zipper

This dress is a stunner!!   It's in excellent condition too for its age, with only a few minor marks to show for its 50 plus years - but nothing that detracts.  This elegant, highly sophisticated gown reminds me of something Lauren Bacall would have worn in the 1950s. Shown with a crinoline petticoat for presentation purposes only.
