* Beautiful print of pale blue brush strokes with pink roses & rosebuds & green leaves
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with oval neckline and princess seams
* Wide panelled skirt with pleated cotton sash at hipline threaded through the folds
* Back metal zipper with V shaped back
* Large bow at back with long tails fastens with press studs

Very little information if available on the history of this label. Research indicates that the label probably originated in the United States but was heavily marketed within in the United Kingdom. During the 1950s and1960s however, the manufacturing was done exclusively in Britain, with the actual design work was outsourced to the United States . The clothing from this label is very eye catching and beautifully detailed. To the extent where California Cottons must match the quality of Horrockses Fashions. While its history may be a little vague, its collectability is not. The label is highly prized today.(Thanks to Liz at Advantage in Vintage)
Condition
This highly sought after novelty print dress is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws other than perhaps a mark or two but nothing particularly evident. It presents beautifully. The dress had been taken out with the ghost stitching evident. But the dress has now been restored to its original size.
