Description

* Vintage 1950s pistachio green and white net lace party dress

* Lining in green taffeta with boned bodice

* Strapless with layers of tulle decorating bust line with cross-over effect

* Extremely full skirt cut out in circle with horsehair braid at hem to hold shape

* Additional tulle layer under lace with fully ruffled skirt

* Side covered metal zipper with hook and eye closure

 

Comment

This vintage dress has been carefully looked after and is in excellent condition for its age. Remember this dress is over sixty years old and has no major flaws that I can see. Minor spot of discolour at lower bodice but hardly seen. The dress is slightly smaller than my mannequin and accounts for the slightly misshapen bust line in the images, as the zipper did not do up fully.
