Edith Flagg (1919 – 2014) was a Romanian immigrant to the United States. She started her dress manufacturing business in Los Angeles in 1956. Her clothes were a mid-priced line – dresses for the “Average American Woman.” She specialised in dress and jacket ensembles, and also included casual dresses in the five lines she produced each year. The label lasted into the 1970s. Starting in 2008, Edith Flagg appeared on_ Million Dollar Listing_, a television reality program starring her grandson. On the program “Granny Edith” gave her grandson, Josh Flagg, business advice and became something of a pop culture heroine. Courtesy of the Vintage Fashion Guild
This dress is in excellent condition for its age. No notable flaws that I can see. The hook and eye on the top of the zipper is missing and could be added if required. There is a tiny mark on the lining inside the bodice, really hardly worth mentioning and definitely does not show at the front. The colours and fabric on this dress are fresh and vibrant, looks hardly worn. Should you wish to drop the hem, it definitely won't leave any fade marks on lines. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
