Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the company was acclaimed for its colourful and well-made, full skirted cotton day dresses and sun dresses. During this period, Serbin become the largest clothing manufacturers in Florida. Their ads from this era always featured the tag line, "Urban or suburban - always wear a Serbin." The company finally closed its doors in 1991.
What a beautiful dress! It's in excellent for its age with no flaws that I can see. The white background has the slightest tinge of lilac but unsure if this is how it was meant to be or the consequence of the faintest of bleeds. If it is the latter, it is remarkably even throughout and really nothing to detract from the overall presentation of this stunningly vibrant dress. Cleaned and ready to wear.
