* Fabric features black floral sprays on a red crimson background

* Bodice has a shelf bust, sleeveless and a deep squared neckline

* Skirt is gored commencing from under bust 

* Self bow and belt attached under bust with a wide skirt

* Low back with metal zipper for closure

 * Label reads Made specially for Maryon by Ricci Michaels Mayfair

Ricci Michaels was an upscale establishment based in London’s Mayfair. This firm featured high-quality and well-made clothing using luxurious fabrics.  The firm was known to advertise in the upscale Vogue Magazines of the period. (courtesy of the Vintage Fashion Guild)
