* Vintage 1950s sage green cotton dress
* Gorgeous novelty print of poodles in black, green and white
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with low scooped neckline
* Bodice has contrasting dark green piping and a stripe insert at centre front
* Insert features brown shiny buttons along bodice
* Gathered skirt with huge border print of poodles
* Brown shiny shoe buttons used for dog's eyes
* Back metal zipper, belt loops but no belt
Condition
This highly sought after novelty print dress is in great vintage condition for its age with the only flaw I can see is that there is a fade line where the dress was let down. Easy to remove by putting in a pink tuck at that location and have the striped portion start slightly higher. That would eliminate the fade line completely, Shoe button eyes might need to be reinforced at some stage as the cotton thread is slightly loose. Cleaned and ready to wear.
