* Vintage 1950s black medium-weight cotton dress
* Design features atomic print flowers in blue, turquoise & white
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Short capped sleeved bodice with sweetheart neckline and insert panels
* Skirt is panelled with built-in black muslin underskirt
* Back metal zipper
* Fully lined in plum taffeta
* Back metal zipper
* Label reads "Linzi Line"
The Linzi Line is a British quality label that was established to recreate the look and quality of the Horrockses brand. The collection, however, was aimed at a younger market and were advertised as "exciting to wear, fashion perfect and pleasantly priced". The various dresses I have owned by this label have impeccable construction and utilise quality fabrics, mainly cotton. Linzi Line advertised in the British Vogue magazine and all of their ads feature innovative designs, lovely fabrics and excellent tailoring.
Condition
This dress is in wonderful vintage condition, free from flaws - it looks hardly worn. Fabric is strong, crisp and vibrant as can be seen in the photographs. This is definitely a quality dress. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
